Baptismal Preparation
- Baptismal robes will be provided
- You will need:
- A shower cap
- A comb
- A towel
- Suitable under-clothing(dark color pants and t-shirt)
- Changing room will be provided
- A deacon/deaconess will be available to assist you
"He that believeth and is baptized the same shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." (Mark 16:16)
At our baptism we pledged ourselves to break all connection with Satan and his agencies, and to put heart and mind and soul into the work of extending the kingdom of God.
All heaven is working for this object. The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit are pledged to cooperate with sanctified human instrumentalities. If we are true to our vow, there is opened to us a door of communication with heaven—a door that no human hand or satanic agency can close. (RH May 17, 1906), (6BC 1075)

BY GOD’S GRACE I .......................................................... PLEDGE:
To accept by faith the sacrifice of the Lord Jesus as full payment for my sins and deliverance therefrom.
To accept the Bible as my only rule of faith and practice. (Matthew 4:4)
To daily pray and read my Bible for strength and guidance. (Matthew 7:7 & 2 Timothy 3:16)
To "Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy." hence to do no secular work on Saturday. (Exodus 20:8-11)
To attend the House of Worship on the Sabbath. (Luke 4:16 & Acts 18:4)
To faithfully support the church with Tithes and Offerings as God prospers me. (Malachi 3:6-9 & Matthew 23:23)
To abstain from fornication and adultery by God’s power. (Isaiah 41:10)
To abstain from unclean meat: swine, shark, pork, etc. (Leviticus 11:7, 8 - read the entire chapter)
To abstain from strong drink such as liquor, wine, beer and narcotics in all of its forms. (Deuteronomy 29:18-20; Prov 21:1
Not to wear ornamental jewelry such as rings, earrings, bracelets and painted faces (lipstick and rouge). (Isaiah 3:16; 1 Timothy 2:9)
By the grace of God I pledge to adhere to the principles that govern the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
It is my desire by the grace of God and the power of the indwelling Christ, to follow my Saviour in Baptism. (John 3:5)
